Manager, Credit Risk

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the formulation and review of credit risk policies and guidelines to cope with regulatory changes
  • Conduct independent credit assessment and validation of credit applications, including site visit, compliance of policies and regulations and make recommendations for approval. The portfolio of clients mainly covers HK/PRC large corporate clients and NBFI
  • Conduct on-going monitoring over credit quality, large exposure, credit rating, and risk concentration
  • Conduct credit risk management training to business lines
  • Perform ad hoc projects or assignments

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate credits for HK/PRC large corporate clients and NBFI, either within a credit risk function or business line in banking industry
  • University graduate with major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related disciplines
  • Good understanding of HK/PRC market and industry dynamics as well as regulatory changes
  • Strong expertise in risk and financial analysis, cash flow projections and banking products
  • HKIB ECF-CRM certification holder would be an advantage
  • Proficient in written Chinese and English, fluency in Mandarin is preferred
  • Good PC skills in MS Word and Excel
