Provide day-to-day support, represent the team to participate and contribute in related projects and conduct UAT
Prepare, review and update SOPs
Make constructive and practical suggestion to enhance operational workflow and efficiency, reduce operational risks
Co-ordinate with other departments, as well as head office on various issues
Handling account documentations and survey/reporting (including Internal and Regulatory reports)
Settlement Risk Control
Ideal candidates are expected to possess:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of relevant working experience in back office operations in a financial institution (preferably investment bank / securities group)
Team spirit, good interpersonal, communication and organization skill
Knowledge of the full settlement cycle of capital markets products. Included: FX products (FXSPOT, FXSwap, FXFwd), FXOptions, derivatives products (FXNDF, IRS, CIRS, Inerest Rate Futures..etc), structured products (PPCD, DCI…), Repo, bonds, Exchange Fund Bills and Notes, issuance of Certificate of Deposits and Structured Notes
Knowledge of the process of margin call under Global Master Repurchase Agreement and Credit Support Annex.
Knowledge in HK Trade Repository Reporting (including submission of new trade, amendment, back loading, termination; checking and resolving unmatched items…)
Knowledge and good experience in market systems like Summit, SWIFT, RTGS, Clearstream-Xact, CMBT
Good in both spoken and written English, and good command of Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
Versatile in Microsoft Office, i.e. EXCEL and WORD
