Coordinate with relevant units and prepare regular compliance reports
Disseminate compliance-related circulars to relevant parties; track and follow up on the regulatory updates
Provide advisory support to business units on compliance-related queries, such as licensing, FATCA and CRS and Code of Banking Practice
Handle licensing and CPT matters
Liaise with regulators (such as HKMA and SFC) and relevant units to facilitate the completion of questionnaires, surveys, reporting requirement and regulatory examinations etc.
Act as the secretary of Compliance Committee Meeting
Handle ad hoc projects as assigned
Ideal candidates are expected to possess:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Finance & Accounting, Corporate Governance or related disciplines
At least 4 years’ relevant work experience in Corporate Banking, Private Banking or Private Wealth Management
Knowledge of Banking Ordinance, SFO and HKMA/SFC rules
Experience in private banking practices will be an advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, willing to learn and take up new challenges
Strong problem solving skills and analytical ability to identify potential issues
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
