Manager, General Compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Review policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Act as the secretary of Compliance Committee Meeting
  • Coordinate with relevant units and prepare regular compliance reports
  • Disseminate compliance-related circulars to relevant parties
  • Provide advisory support to business units on compliance-related queries
  • Liaise with regulators and business units on compliance-related issues, such as licensing
  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned

Ideal candidates are expected to possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Finance & Accounting, Corporate Governance or related disciplines
  • At least 4 years’ relevant work experience in Corporate Banking, Private Banking or Private Wealth Management
  • Knowledge of Banking Ordinance, SFO and HKMA/SFC rules
  • Experience in private banking practices will be an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn and take up new challenges
  • Independent with strong problem solving skills, analytical ability to identify potential issues and solutions
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
