Project Manager / Business Analyst, Overseas IT

Responsibilities:

  • Drive / manage the delivery of projects and ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed timeline, level of quality and approved costs
  • Lead / facilitate project discussions, manage vendors, work with stakeholders to ensure project is delivered as agreed and is in compliance with the Bank’s and regulatory requirements and policies
  • Ensure all project artifacts and deliverables are well documented, project risks and open items are tracked, addressed and escalated on a timely basis
  • Monitor progress of project milestones / activities to ensure a clear and timely communication and reporting to all stakeholders
  • Support Project Management Office (PMO) activities, including preparation of management reports

Ideal candidates are expected to possess:

  • Degree holder in Business, Information Technology, Financial or related disciplines
  • With at least 4 years relevant working experience within the Banking industry (preferably in a Corporate Bank, Investment Bank or Private Bank)
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, governance and processes
  • Prior experience in project management / project management office (PMO) support / business analysis of projects with different level of complexity
  • Knowledge and / or experience in any of the following applications / domain would be an advantage: Avaloq, TAP, Summit, SWIFT, RTGS, loan/deposit, internet banking, regulatory reporting, IT Compliance
  • Team player, able to multi-task and possess initiative
  • Good communication skills and proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
