Study & process corporate actions and monitor the lifecycle of events within pre-defined cutoff time and timely escalation for irregular cases detected
Execute & support of (1) the full settlement cycle of private banking products (e.g. equities, bonds, investment funds, structured products and derivatives); (2) deposit and remittance process e.g. client verification, payment via RTGS and SWIFT
Represent the team to participate and contribute in related projects and conduct UAT
Make constructive and practical suggestions to enhance operational workflow and reduce operational risks
Perform ad-hoc projects, co-ordinate with stakeholders on various issues
Ideal candidates should possess:
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business or related discipline
At least 3 years of experience in Corporate Action processing, preferably within Private Banking or Wealth Management industry
Experience with financial market infrastructure and processing platforms such as SWIFT, RTGS, Clearstream Web Portal and Avaloq would be an advantage
Solid understanding of private banking management systems and operation workflows
Familiar with policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in Private Banking
Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Well organized with logical mindset, good problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
Proficient in in Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Word and PowerPoint
