Cathay United Bank established in Taiwan

Cathay United Bank has steadily grown its operational footprint since its inception in 1975 with 232 service points across Taiwan and nine ASEAN nations.
2005
Cathay United Bank established its very first foundations in Vietnam.

Established its first branch in Quang Nam and operates 2 representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
2008
Started Elevated Tree Program

From 2008 to 2024, the program provided support to over 22,000 students in challenging circumstances, making a cumulative contribution of up to 13 billion VND

Relocated the CUB branch from Quang Nam to Ho Chi Minh City
