為了保障客戶免墮入短訊詐騙陷阱，國泰世華商業銀行香港分行已參與由通訊事務管理局辦公室推出的「短訊發送人登記制」，自2024年12月23日起，本分行將使用「#CUBHK 」開頭的「已登記的短訊發送人名稱」發出短訊予本地流動服務用戶。

請注意，短訊發送人登記制並不適用於：
1. 需要接收者直接回覆的雙向短訊；
2. 使用非香港營辦商提供之一卡多號／一卡雙號流動服務的本地用戶。

當收到並非以「#」號開頭的短訊發送人名稱發出的短訊（特別是該短訊由陌生人發出），應提高警惕，在任何情況下，不要向身分未經核實的短訊發送人披露個人資料、銀行戶口號碼或信用卡資料、轉賬或開啟短訊內的超連結，以免蒙受損失。

To prevent customers from falling prey to phishing SMS, Cathay United Bank (Hong Kong) Branch has joined the SMS Sender Registration Scheme("Scheme") launched by the Office of Communications Authority("OFCA").

Starting from 23 December 2024, we will start using "#CUBHK" to send SMS to local mobile users.

Please note that the Scheme is not applicable to:
i. two-way SMS which requires customers’ reply; or
ii. local subscribers of Single-Card-Multiple-Numbers/One-Card-Two-Numbers mobile server provided by non-Hong Kong operators.

If you receive any SMS and the sender ID does not start with "#" (especially from an unknown party) , please be vigilant and under all circumstances, must not disclose to unidentified senders any personal information, bank account numbers or credit card details, transfer money or access any hyperlink in the SMS, to avoid suffering any loss.
